Nike released its Air max technology in 1987. Since then it was a huge hit in the market and in the public. This technology uses a flexible bag of pressurized air that is compacted in a flexible bag, these small bags are place in the mid-sole and heel of the sneaker. With Air Max technology Nike revolutionized the sneaker market. Air Max technology helped to reduce the impact of the force while running.
Nike has a long list of sneakers in Air Max line but the most prominent is hands down the Air Max 95. It was designed by Sergio Lozano in 1995, who has done quite the work on Air Max 95. Unlike then the previous Air Max sneakers, Air Max 95 was given a complete makeover in terms of technology used and the visual designing. For the first time in history of Nike, Air Max 95 had two visible air cushion pockets in forefoot and one back in the heel. According to Sergio Lozano the design of Air Max 95 was based on human anatomy, in which the support of the shoe was made to resemble human spine and the materials used indicated the ribs, tendons and skin. The materials used in Air max 95 are very high quality and had a marvelous tendency to absorb force impacts which protects knees, ankles and muscles. This makes it a perfect running shoe.
The Air Max 95 had a visual striking design, the usual Nike swoosh was designed to b small in size and was placed back at the heel. It had the very new signature Air Max logo on the tongue of the shoe. The original Air Max had a neon color to the eyes which was very attractive.
Since its release countless editions and colorways of Air Max 95 are released, some of which the latest are; Air Max 95 Essential, Air Max 95 Premium, Air Max 95 iD and Air Max 95 Ultra SE.
Nike Air Max is very much popular among the celebrities and from time to time one or the other is seen rocking a pair of these classic shoes. Some of which are Eminem, Lebron James, Justin Timberlake and Tom hardy to mention a few.
